once again Sawaariya was an inspired story from a National award winning tamil movie “Iyarkai” , which was very natural,in a bollywood fashion…. the concept was lifted/inspired. even that movie didnt go well at the box office….

@yleeakue i agree with you totally.. i live in US and was Born in JAMAICA , i love bollywood movies .sometime i dont understand how one movie that is totally bull sssshhhh could be good but the once that play on situation in really life could not be as good. some of the situation that you see in movie like RAAVAN do happen.I wish everyone would stop living in this fanasty that everything is a song and ance.I also saw the telugu verison and love that one as well. there is a time and plc 4evrthin

fact is that the role was too heavy for abhishek’s shoulders. coupled with a weak screenplay and insane dialogues, it met the fate it deserved to.

THIS MOVIE HAD A GR8 STORY , becoz of abhishek it was destroyed ! he gave one of his most terrible and awfull acting ever ! Vikram was Better at being Ravanaan , his acting was excellent , Ash also Did gr8 in both of the version’s ..

@yleeakue saawariya has reality in the movie? Are you kidding?? I really liked Raavan, especially the tamil version (FYI I am not tamilian). But I didn’t like Saawariyan, it was too unrealistic and bollywoody for me.

Reality ? whose reality? Everyone reality is different. Must be in sync with the sensibilities of the particular peoples to whom it is addressed. From the preview, this movie seems more in sync with Western conquer or be conquered sensibility as opposed to a gentler Asian, introspective psyche. If indeed this movie was a flop and the love stories are quite successful… this is the clear reason.

Th visuals were EXCELLENT but the the actors, script, and dialogues were just… terrible!
